Welcome, I'm Maydi Eastman, a fifth-generation resident deeply committed to our community's well-being. The heart of this community holds immense significance for me, providing my family with invaluable support and belonging.

With a strong legacy of service, I've dedicated myself to various community initiatives, including delivering meals to seniors, organizing county celebrations, fundraising for cancer patients, advocating for historical markers, maintaining our cemetery’s integrity, and leading the D.U.P as Company President.

Now, I'm excited to run for County Recorder, leveraging my experience with historical documents, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit to make a significant community impact through the recording, maintenance, and accessibility of vital legal documents and records.

MY FOCUS

Property Rights

Safeguarding rights & ownership.

Land ownership is particularly significant in Rich County, representing generations of family heritage. As County Recorder, I’ll work to protect property rights by ensuring that property records are accurate and accessible, providing peace of mind to landowners and supporting the stability of our community.

Economic Development

Contributing to community vitality.

Efficient record-keeping is essential for long-term growth and prosperity. By maintaining accurate property records and facilitating smooth land transactions, I’ll be able to contribute to the growth of local businesses, ranches, and other enterprises that are the backbone of our economy.

Local History

Preserving Documents That Matter.

Our community has rich history and traditions that are intertwined with land ownership and property records. As County Recorder, I’ll be able to play a vital role in preserving this local heritage by accurately recording land transactions, property boundaries, and other historical documents that reflect the character of our community.

Rural Interests

Advocating For Tailored Solutions.

Our community faces distinctive challenges. I will advocate for initiatives specifically designed to address these needs. This includes implementing secure access to digital records, reducing reliance on physical storage, and providing citizens more timely and accurate access to their records.
