At the Senior Center, I successfully secured a grant aimed at ensuring access to fresh, nutritious foods for those in need. This initiative significantly contributed to fostering a healthier and more resilient senior community, while building a strong sense of community support.
Recognizing the transformative potential of grants, I actively sought funding opportunities to organize a Native American Cultural dance and film event. This initiative provided an inclusive platform for all community members to celebrate their connection to this land, especially amidst the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The D.U.P. Museum stands as a cornerstone of our community, serving as both an emblem of our heritage and a connection to our ancestors. Preserving this iconic building held great significance for me, driving efforts to raise sufficient funds to seal the logs and protect against the harsh weather.
To enhance Randolph's 150th celebration, I obtained funding to produce brochures for the historic tours. These materials offered detailed insights into the tour itinerary and landmarks, effectively expanding the tour's reach and providing participants with vivid descriptions and visuals to enrich their experience.
